Faster, BIG THANKS for shipping the interconnect...got it today.

I am lucky enough to be working from home, so even though I said I would wait for the HK for further testing, couldn't wait and connected the 1B's with the Denon, this time with Faster's cable, and WOW.....I experienced something that I've only experienced once before....I was alone in the basement listening to music and I was just smiling, alone, as if I was crazy...never had that feeling? (By the way, the first time was when I installed my SVS...)

So this is what SDA is all about....totally awesome experience....just heard for a few minutes, and the cable works and the Denon could handle it....

Back to work now; today the HK is arriving so tonight I won't sleep much :)

Your on your way to the promised land. Wait til you get the HK on them. Then hook the Adcom into it's preouts and judge for yourself which way you like the sound better.
I hooked my 2Bs back up to the HK 3380 and was really amazed at how good they sound being driven by that receiver, as I had forgotten since it had been several months since I went with seperates.

Quick update...

Last night I put together on a temprary location the 2 channel rig..
HK-3480
XRt12 tuner
Denon DCM-280 CD changer
SDA 1B's

Have not had a chance for some serious listening, but I just want to say a couple of things:

-SDA is for me; love the sound coming from everywhere and nowhere.....
-HK sounds great; I think I am starting to understand what "warm" means. Also seems it has lots more power than my Denon 3803 for stereo
-The tuner combines very well with the HK receiver...those blue lights match perfectly...:)

This weekend I will place them where they should go and also install the atriums...

ALLRIGHTY, we do have a confirmed case of SDA-itis over in Mason, Oh. Stay clear of that area if you do not want to be infected. :D
