Anyone else got hooked on Rome? I thought it is better than Deadwood. It gets better by the episodes, especially tonight's.

Its good, but hasn't caught my attention like Six Feet Under or Carnivale. And unfortunately HBO gave Carnivale the boot.....

Rome is great! I like that English actress thats evil, the one that sc_ews everbody! I didnt know that Carnivale was cancelled, damn!
I might just have to activate HBO, since this and Deadwood are on.
The 3rd Season of Deadwood has started, right????
What about the Sopranos, has it started yet???
With all three of those going, I might be able to justify the $$$.
I love the Showtime series "HUFF" but the rest of their programming sucks a whole bunch of ass. I watched the whole first season and was left with the cliff hanger and I'm assuming the 2nd season has recently started.

Was Rome good? My school showed the entire 1st season last semester in the main theater

The guy who makes Deadwood planned on doing Rome. Deadwood was supposed to be in Roman times, but HBO told him they were already making it. Anyhow, I like it, but I believe this show was also cancelled due to production costs. Has this changed?
Rome or Deadwood?
HBO is about to air the 2nd season of Rome. As of now, Deadwood has been cancelled, but there are rumors that HBO will do one or two feature length movies, so there will be closure. I hope they do at least that. I'll be sorely disappointed if they don't.

Both are cancelled. Season 2 of Rome is the last one because of costs.
