Something just doesn't seem right about that choice - we'll see.

He looks more like a bad guy.

I'll wait and pass judgement when I see his first film. A blonde Jame Bond, that's something new.

Roger Moore was so so, maybe this guy will be better.

Watch "Layer Cake" and you'll see why they picked him for Bond.

Man, he doesn't even look a thing like the others. All the ones up until now look very similar (at least to me), and this guy looks totally different.
Oh well. As long as he does well in the films.

The poll at the link provided in the first post is 71% vs 29% against Craig making a good Bond.

This sorta makes me want to throw up a little.
I was hoping they would go with a Timothy Dalton type actor. In addition to being the "coolest" Bond, I thought Dalton was closest to the Bond portrayed in Ian Fleming's books.

After seeing Layer Cake I think he might be a good choice, time will tell. I actually thought Brosnan was good too. It will be interesting to see who plays him in about 10 years...there are some good twenty-something English actors that I think would be good....Christian Bale...maybe even Jason Statham (although he is too good as bad guy also).

The new Bond girl, Eva Green. Very nice! I loved her in Kingdom of Heaven, she looked stunning and did a decent job. Much better then the past few Bond girls.

The new Bond bad guy, Mads Mikkelsen.

So far I like the cast, no super star Hollywood faces. Hopefully the story is well done and Bond takes on a more serious style like those of old. As much as I've enjoyed Pierce Brosnan his Bond films were a bit too goofy.

They've been announcing the "official" Bond and Bond Girl for the past six months, and every time it's official they change it. Until they start filming, I don't believe a thing.

Acording to CNN, it's offical, offically. http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/02/17/bond.girl.reut/index.html
