1.2 vs 1.2tl

I am heading over to look at some 1.2's (with original tweeter) and 1.2tl's. I was wondering what is generally accepted as the better speaker - 1.2's WITH the upgraded tweeters or 1.2tl's?

For those that have heard both - which do you like and why? (are the TL's bright with the tri-laminate tweeter vs the soft dome of the upgraded tweeter for the 1.2's?)

If I currently like the sound of my LSi's which would you say sound closest to that kind of sound? (I definately like the LSi's vs my SDA 1b's - (I have to upgrade the tweeters in those as well.....)

anyway - any thoughts?

The TL's get the most attention around here.
And chances are, you will upgrade the tweeters regardless of which speakers you get.
Take along some material you are very familiar with, and hopefully the seller will allow you some comparison time.
Do a blind A/B test, in that, don't let him tell you which speakers you
re listening to.
Then let your ears decide.
