I am watching a pair of thes on E=Bay and would like some feedback from users who own these. How much power are you running with yours? Sound, performance, problems, give me the low down!!Carl

Hi Carl,

Me and my brother paid $750 for each pair of our 2.3.
I drive the 2.3 with a Luxman C-05A pure class A single stage pre and McIntosh mc-2002 200wpc bi-wired.
My brother use a Nakamichi IA-1z as a pre-proc and hook up the 2.3 as the front, driven by a Carver TFM-55X (385wpc).
Both sound wonderful. When I purchased my brother's 2.3 from Luc, Luc gave me an
audition of his 1.2TL. No, the 2.3 is no 1.2TL; however, I can say this much, it is one of the best $750 speaker that you can buy, period. You won't be disappointed.

Fred is right on, on this. 2.3's are the single best bang for buck speakers in the SDA lineup.
Get 'em and love 'em!:)

If they are the ones in ATL, we need to talk.

Watching them also.

I like my 2.3TL's more than my 1.2's. I paid $230.00 for them w/o the tweeters, and installed new tweets from Polk. I am running them with a D200 power amp from Audio Research, and they sound fantastic. Good luck with the auction.

I love watching newbie Ebayers bid on stuff. $5 more, $5 more, $5 more, nope, stilll not winning, $10 more, etc, etc. Prettyboy and BR30023 are responsible for more than 25 of the 36 bids so far.

Yea, the sellers love it, but the real buyers see their dollars slipping away. Its pretty much why I have given up the Bay. But yea, still fun to watch.

People are needlessly driving up prices by early bidding.

I didn't see "Prettyboy" on our members list, at least not with this alias.

Hang in there Russ!!!

Nice score Russ. I was the first bidder on them. At the time, I didn't know that there were so many people in Georgia that would be interested in them.

Russ, Congrats on getting those. Did you use a snipe service? You don't stop, now you are the closest Polk member to me with SRS.

How about a listening party?

You're prettyboy?

okiepolkie

No, I'm not prettyboy. Look at the dates when bids were placed. I bid $100 at the beginning. Prettyboy bid up to max, but didn't bid again until the $401 mark. Don't worry, I didn't try to run the bid up. I bid once and quit.

No snipe service, just a lucky shot, I actually placed the bid with 17 seconds left, I see it went in with 3 secs left, wow.

Maybe went higer than I wanted, but local pick up was a plus, some new grill cloth and some cleaning, they will be go to go.

Troy, I'll make you a deal...well not yet.

I sent you an email. I was watching all day and no bids! I went to the gym to workout and came back and saw you won! :D Great news! When do you pick them up?
