Anyone every heard B&W DM100 bookshelf speakers?

Anyone ever heard a pair of B&W DM100? They were from about 1985, probably B&W's lower end speaks.
6" woofer/1" tweeter

A guy is selling a pair locally for $50. Trying to decide if they are worth a 45 min drive to hear them. Might make a good office setup.

Bill, I used to own DM110 about that time (bought it in 85 too). It was a decent speakers for that time. Personally, I won't own it again, but then it's a different time altogether. For $50? if you have the need, go for it. They are the entry-level DM series.

Eh, I'll probably pass on them. I was just wondering if they might be some little gems for the money. Thanks for the info though.
