Thanks, The Jettas got a JL 13w1 , I kinda HAD to install a JL sub , My current employer doesnt sell Polk Audio(there loss), so I installed what was available. Fortunatly I built the box and made a few "extra" rings so I can swap in a better sub at a later date. Thinking a 12" inverted ,sunk ~1/2 way in the enclouser.
Jetta also has O/H video system from a 03 Navigator I intergated in to the car.

Sounds like a real piece of work. I'm personally pretty fond of the w1's from JL. Right now it's between a 10w1 and a MM2104 for my set-up.
What kind of performance upgrades have you made to your Golf?

Definitely some nice stuff you've got there. Have you taken it to a track? I bet that 290hp is pretty fast.
When VW came out with the R32, I immediately fell in love, 4 wheel drive, 6speed, all the looks you could want.

The R32 is a sweet ride, I have a hard time keeping up with them, untill deep into 2nd gear; 4WD>2WD, then its all over.
My best 1/4 mile is a 13.8@104mph, but the clutch blew apart with a few hundred feet left to go. I've yet to really run it at the track hard since, the new clutch and cams went in just before Nopi Nats; and now the local tracks closed for the year. Plus we have a local club car(stlvw.org) that is running 11.58@122mph that took up alot of my play time. Its a junkyard dog, less than 4k in the entire car.
The stereo hasnt changed much in the last few years(installed the new grilles), but it still gets complements, and sounds very good so let it be,.....
I heard those Vortech's are bullshit!! What's up man? Did you make it back from NOPI in one piece?

Yep, blowers suck, I'd rather have a T4, but thats another story.
I ended up driving staight home from Atlanta to St. louis, ~8.5 hrs, strolled in at 3am.
Cars running really well, I put the 15" wheels on it to play, nothing like knocking 80lbs of mass of the wheels, :D
You going to SEMA?

I can only imagine the difference that made!
Yeah, I'll be walking the show. We don't have a booth but we're building a '06 Civic for Honda's booth.

Since we're on the subject of cars, what was the verdict on the car used as a demo for the SR's? Or is it top secret?

Nice touch painting the phase plugs!
I like it! Paint scheme is good too. Kinda understated, stealthy.
I know its set up to demo and not win SQ contests but how does it image with the mids and tweets in the A's like that?

It should be good once we get the time alignment set up. It has a PXA-H701 in it.

They are one-off Davin rims valued at $20,000. Davin created spinners. Here's their website:

A little off topic.....
I was just watching the news and a story came up about this guy who spent $241,000 dollars in one night at a strip club. It was a CEO of a company and 3 of his guests. He is fighting the billing. I guess he would not have any issues in buying some of those rims if he wanted. Oh, he is also married with three young daughters.
