Anyone using respectable speakers and a good cd player will realize this.

It's not HDCD, it's not Telarc, but it sounds REALLY good with no brittle highs.

I really like the soundtrack to Episode 1 as well. Hell, I like Episodes 1-3 better than 4-6 and I grew up on the latter!

Agree this one has been treated to the best recording of the series.

The final track, with the Star Wars medley during the credits, was really a treat, especially the cue from the final scene of A New Hope. Sounds like Williams had some fun writing this one.
