I've heard this site mentioned, and it seems as good as any for ordering my tubes... I ordered a pair of JJ 6DJ8's and they sent me Electro-Harmonix 12AX7's!

Just wondering if they're known to mess up orders often so I can avoid business with them in the future - hopefully they set this right quickly. I mean c'mon, they're not even the same category tube.

I buy my tubes from www.thetubestore.com I've placed a ton of orders from them and never had a problem.

Tube Depot is an excellent business. I've ordered from them several times. Very fast delivery and never heard of them screwing up.

Not to derail this post,but,being a nes tube owner, any recommendations on tubes for an A I L-1 pre--(6DJ8),currently have a quad of JJ made in Slovak Republic and have a pair of BB's on the way.

Just got my latest order today, paid for 3 day shipping, got it in 2. Gotta love those guys.

They replied quickly and are going to set things right immediately - on the up side of this mix-up, I forgot to request the tubes be tested as a matched pair, so they threw in the $4 testing for free on the correct tubes.

Has anyone tried any tubes from Parts Express? They seem to have pretty reasonable prices on matched pairs and quads.
