Just wondering what SVS sub do most of you SVS sub fans have? My room is 24x11.5, the one I was looking at was the 1199.00 one forgot the model! thanks

I've got dual PB10's stacked and corner loaded, my room is about 13x22.

I have one of the tube subs. (the short passive one) 25-31cs+. (and an absolutely GIANT space to fill.) I really like the sub, but since I am over 90% home theater, I am thinking of upgrading to a CS-Ultra if one comes available at the right price.....

i can't even turn it up as loud as i'd like. damned walls and every single thing in the house rattle too much! damned fine sub.

Good Bizill, thats what I want, but my problem is that my rooms floor is concrete with good padding & Dr s office carpet. I wish I had put down a floating wood floor, but I wanted to save $$$$

Saving up to buy a PB12-Plus/2 right now for a 14X16 room. IF you want info straight from the source, send SVS an email with your room dimensions. They are great about helping you choose which sub works best for your situation.

I am probally the only person on this forum that runs his sub to the absolute max in a 10.5x10.5x8 room and want more still. The bass isnt that over-bearing either. Ask Liquid! ;) - probally has to do something with the fact my speakers can keep up with the sub very easilly... they are equally matched...

But I seriously run mine top notch...100%, every passage... it gets everything and does everything, it gets no breaks. EVER.

In other words, I recomend the biggest, baddest sub you can afford. 1,100 - HT: PB 12/2 + - MUSIC - PC ULTRA!

I went with the one I thought might work which is a 2039+ and it is complete overkill for our 12' x18' living room. The boys at SVS can give some good accurate advice. Even for the best bass movies the 2:00 position is too much.

Try isolating the sub with spikes and/or setting it on a concrete landscaping pad. I guarantee it will make a difference.

Beardog....an Ultra....ooooh, I'm jealous

i would love to run mine to its fullest. but the structural integrity of my home everyone keeps referring to is my limiting factor. now had i had termites, i'd have a reason to run my svs full on and shake those little suckers' innards 'till they exploded/imploded, but i don't. alas, the value of my home supercedes my hunger for optimal bass. but it's nice to know that i have optimum in my possession if ever i have to call upon it for demo purposes.

i have tile floors. but that is not the culprit. just the basswaves doin' their thing @ such a high spl level gets my house upset with my audio/video hobby.

My house is on floor joists and a crawl space and before I isolated it, it shook the floors and walls violently. Seems now the shaking is produced from the sub soundwaves not the shaking of the cylinder itself.

If your on a slab the isolation may not help.

I run a PB12-ISD/2 in a 24' x 24' x 6-3/4' room. It keeps up very well with anything I throw it's way.
