I'm wanting to get a pair of these for my ST-70 (no 7199s here) and was wondering if anybody has done any rolling of these.

I just checked thetubestore.com and they don't even carry ECF82's. Since you're not using 7199 you must have one of those modified boards or a board with a completely different design. Or did you mean ECC82?

The board is a Sound Valves. My 70 came with it.
From what I can gather ECF82 can be a 6U8, 6U8A, or a 6GH8.

Selection is pretty small but price is very attractive. They're all under $10 a piece. You should be able to roll all of them.

I got outbid on a pair of NOS Mullards and was watching a pair of Aperex.
Faster - Anything in my list or in Doro's should do the trick.
