This widescreen format is bugging me. I don't log in unless I want to post something so I have to constantly go to the bottom and change to widescreen. Of the dozen or so sites I visit everyday, only about 1 other site has their website formatted like this one. I realize Polk has probably upgraded their office monitors to 19 or 21" so internally this suits them best. This forum is probably a pretty good representation or match to their daily non-forum traffic so if there is a consensus here positive or negative then this might be good information for Polk to use to determine if they jumped the gun or not.
Just wondering what everyone else thinks.

 Default mode leaves wide margins on the sides of my screen, so I use widescreen.
:D my screen is 1712x980

Default mode sucked. Widescreen works for me.

Widescreen is great for people runnin 1024x768 and up, I believe. I run 1280x1024 at home and work...
My solution to your problem is to just log in and leave it logged in.

Do what I did.
Go to polk and one last time click on widescreen on the bottom.
Once it changes to widescreen, set a book mark.
From then on, everytime you click on your polk bookmark it automatically comes up widescreen whether you're logged in or not.

Good idea but I lose the widescreen format when I jump around within the forum maybe because I keep my cookies turned off.
