I'm thinking of starting a 2 channel system with, most likely, wall mounted lsi7s and a decent sub (outlaw or hsu). I'm considering the Hk 3480 the Outlaw RR2150 and the Parasound Halo A23 / Halo P3.

Costs of these amp setups on the uses/ bstock market are about $200, $600, $1100, respectively. The RR2150 is too new for anyone to know much about, but does anyone have experience with a similar comparison?

Try checking out the NAD 320BEE intergrated, I use to use one for my LSi9's...with the money saved, get a more musical sub, perhaps from REL. A REL Stadium would put you over the top.

I'm using the HK3480 for my wall mounted pair of RTi38's. The 3480 has enough juice to power the 38's without a sub. You can buy the 3480 from www.bhphoto.com brand new for less than $300.

I've used NAD in my system and they match nicely with the LSi9. Are you set on setting mounting those 7's on the wall? Speaker stands will give you much better sound.

I really like NAD, nice clean power with lots of headroom is their strength. I have used NAD for my rigs and they sounded great with my Polk vintage gear. That Outlaw is very cool looking and most folks here who have their gear enjoy it. The Parasound, well its Parasound, never heard one I didn't really like, they mate well with Polk also.

Everyone here has offered good advise. Just thought I would add that I have spent much time listening to the LSi7s from my HT system on my Halo P3/A23 2ch combo. This makes for a great sounding setup. However I will have to say that the A23 is a bit of overkill for those speakers. If I were building a system for 7s I would probably stick with a nice quality Integrated.
