What is a good sub cable made of? Coxial cable or the regular rca patch cables? Both work, thanks

Either the standard sub coax cable or a quality audio interconnect work fine. I was able to snag a $500 single run of Audioquest Jaguar audio interconnect for my sub, and it made a huge difference from a $75 rca coax sub run. Bass was cleaner, tighter, and had more impact on the truly low frequency info. Of course, a standard $50-100 coax is reasonably efficient for most people. In my case, the cable is worth more than the sub!

I run the monster zb100 sub cable with my svs pb2plus and i experienced the same results as gregure. i am considering getting two more for my rt3000 subs. i did a direct comparison and the cost was justified im my opinion. spend the extra money to get a good quality sub cable of any brand you wont regret it.
