Any thoughts on the best way to connect the monoblock momo 500 sub amp to the 4 channel 400? The 500 has 2 RCA inputs (left and right), while the 400 has 4 RCA preamp outputs (LF, RF, RR, LR).

My concern is that if I use only the Front or Rear preamp outs from the 400 that changing the fader on the head unit will increase or decrease the preamp signal to 500, with a commensurate increase or reduction in bass.

Are there 2 into 1 RCA wire kits made? Is there any risk to the 400 of flowback of current into the attenuated channel if the fader is set to extreme front or extreme back?

Thanks!

Jon

The only way to wire them up is to run the outputs from either the front or rear of the 400.4 to the inputs of the 500.1.

I take it your head unit only has 2 pair of outputs, so in that case a good option for you would be to buy you a set of Y-adapters and run the rear outputs from the head unit split with one set going to the rear channels of the 400.4 and the other going to the 500.1.

That would be the easiest way to do it.

i can't think straight right now, but never ever use a y-splitter to combine two channels, bad things result...

hes saying use a y-splitter to take 1 input and make it 2 for a 4-ch

i agree.. y - splitter. or if the c400.4 has a 'summed' output, then run that to the sub amp.
