What can you tell about the Acoustic Research AR4s?? What's a nice pair worth?

8" two-way that was AR's biggest seller, a real bread and butter speaker. They're worth as little as possible. They sold a lot of those, and very early on (not much past the mid 70's I'd venture they stopped). A pair would have to be newly re-foamed, and in gorgeous cosmetic condition for me to want to pay $100/pair.

Thanks. I know the guy that has them. He's the same guy I got my first Polks from, RTA 8TLs, which were about as perfect as one could expect for a 14 year old speaker. He wants $95 for them and I think he told me they were refoamed. I'll go check them out and see.
