 http://bfdguide.ws/sinewaves/

Hello POLKs,
Got a delimma here, is this needed or what? After moving 2houses within a year my SVS settings are all screwed up. SO I've been researching online and a POLKbrother sent this to me. Please advise.

Also, my HT room is actually 2 rooms in one---> Livingroom/ Den (suppose to be a office room but I stood FIRM against my wife to MAKE it a HT room).
So my HT room is divided with a French Patio door, my TV and main speakers are located to the next room (Den/office room) across from my sitting area(Living room) where my rear, side and SVS pb2+ are located.
NOTE: My SVS is placed on the left side and the bouncing wall (corner wall) has ONLY 4ft wide on both sides, basically my SVS is out on the open and I am loosing A lot of BASS, Feedback, headroom, or etc....
HELP....please

Hey Dog, There are those here that think they are helpful and those who don't. I bought mine here on the fm for $75 and I am quite happy with the results that I hear. It really flattened up the response curve. And it is a fun way to spend a afternoon if you are a geek like me. But with the little info given ( no room dimensions) I can't say if this would help you. I'm sure the experts will way in with their opinion but I'm not sure that it will increase your bass or headroom but should smooth things out.

Hope this helps somewhat........kevin :)

The BFD is great, and a lot of fun, but all the BFD can do is cut peaks in response, and *maybe* do a little boosting here and there. It doesn't look like that is your problem.

You can try moving the sub around, but if there are a few openings in the room, you might need a bigger sub, or more subs.

http://bfdguide.ws/ that is the better link. anyway, is there no other place in the world you could set the sub? heck i'd at least even try turning the sub 90 degrees. i can't picture your room setup. definately does not seem any type of optimal.

We need a frequency response chart. It will tell us the exact symptoms of your problem.
