Im setting up a new HT system, Upgrading from the old Polk Rm2500 Satalite(dont laugh) ;) and im looking for some sugestions regarding speakers. New System includes

Yamaha RX-V2500
Velodyne Sub
Polk CSi3 center
Polk RC80i in the ceiling for the rear (not installed yet)

Im looking at RTi70,R30,or R50 for the front (Sugestions on something else welcome). Considering in-wall for the sourounds.

Any help or sugestions on what to do or not do would be helpfull.
thanks

Go with the RTi series -- a floorstander such as the RTi8 or RTi10.

If it's done right, the in-walls should should sound just as good. But don't forget, once you've installed them, they're staying. With the FX series, you can play around with different positions.

Thanks for the posts. :). Just a few more quesitons
Because of my room setup (fireplace, windows, doors, WIFE) anything with bulk is out..besides a satalite in the corner, in walls just seemed to be the right choice. What is the best way to set them up as far as location. As for the fronts, polk recomends the RTI4, or RTI6 to match up with the CSI3 center. I know i will not get the overall sound quality as i would with a stander, but most of what we listen to is Movies

I have the LC80is for my rears in a 7.1 and they are terrific with the rest of my system.

Get the RTI 8s for the front.
