Speaker / Light Placement

What are the rules for placing speakers and recessed lights near each other? I am installing LC80i into the ceiling joist and wanted to put recessed lights in the next joist over. Any issues with interference?

Also what about speaker wires and electrical wire rules? I understand that you can cross at 90 degrees and shouldn't run any closer then 3 to 4 feet apart. If you have to run parellel to electric wires can you shield the speaker wires?

Don't have an anwer for your first question but do have one for the second.

I highly doubt you'll hear a difference having your speaker cables running parallel with power cords. I tried this experiment at home and couldn't hear a difference. Maybe for really long runs of wire it would affect sound quality.
