Age of a Sony CA-7ES cd player?

Does anyone know the production dates or approximate age of this cd player?

my guess is between '87-'89.

If it is a 5 cd-changer, then production begin around 1996.

decisions, decisions. I already have a ten disc sony cdp-c910 that I bought new in '92 for $299 or can upgrade? to a used CA-7ES for $100 that the seller bought in '98.
