Hello People, I've bought two wounderfull RTi12 and I have a sinto-ampli Yamaha RX-V 550 (90 Watts x 6 @ 8 ohms, 20Hz to 20kHz).
I've putted frontal line A to high frequency and frontal line b to low frequency ( pseudo-biwiring)
As CD-DVD reader I have one italian: DVD SVX12808B SINUDYNE.
I don't think you can know abroad of italy.
I'd like not to change the yamaha. ;)
1.)What ampli, after the Yamaha, do you suggest to send the right watts to the RTi12 to sing as they could?
Or whatever can I do to give more Amp and watts to my speakers without change the Rx-v550?
When I was listening to them in the shop with the right combination they sounded perfectly; now at home, with my configuration they sound good but not as much good as in the shop. :(
2.)About the DVD reader: does it impact a lot the quality of the sound when I play Audio CD?
This DVD reader is quite chip (70$) so I'm woundering if also this can lower the overall quality.
I've connected the DVD to the Yamaha with 2 professional audio analogic cable and when I hear Cd I use the analogic connection instead of the digital optical wire ( it was told to do it by the shop-guy).
3.)Do you agree to this last suggestion?
Thanks from italy

Yamaha receivers (non-flagship) don't have the necessary current. Forget watts. You need to look for current and a powerful primary and secondary power supply in the receiver/amp.

Ebay. NAD, Rotel and Adcom. The new MOSFET Adcoms sound great with the RTi's.

I would recommend a dedicated amp with at least 200 wpc for the rti12's. Check out the Outlaw 770 or 755

thanks people, but I was thinking to something as an ampli with just 2 channel at 200W, not 7. I have just the 2 RTI12 then need this power and then, for the rest of the HT speakers, I have something I can handle without problems with the Yamaha.
I'd like biwiring, even within the same ampli, I know some have this options.

do you think Rotel RMB 1075 can handle easly 2 RTI12?
in italy rotel it's well considered but I've not idea how RMB 1075 can work with RTI12.
