Ok, this is something I noticed when I first got my 32' hitachi display. I thought it was normal when in some dark scenes it would get brighter for a split second from time to time. Then I found forums complaining about this defect.
Yes, I use a good quality regulator on it, but it still had the flicker effect. :(
Fixed it though by plugging it to the custom power outlets I use for my amps. It seems that plasma's are also sensitive to clean power. :p
