Does anyone know if the midbass drivers and tweeters in the surround bar are user replaceable? Also, is there any protection such as a polyfuse or anything?
Thanks!

It appears the driver/tweeters are mounted in the baffle with bolts, with intermediate bolts holding the baffle to the case. I went to the patent application for the second part of the question, but found nothing. However, it's an interesting read (couldn't get the drawings to load, however):

What appears to be the SurroundBar patent app (http://appft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-bool.html&r=3&f=G&l=50&co1=AND&d=PG01&s1=Polk.IN.&OS=IN/Polk&RS=IN/Polk)

As an engineer, I'd liek to point that we are responsible for about FIVE percent of patent applications like this... the other 95% is management and lawyers :)

I have 2 patents on file and when the lawyers filed them I had NO IDEA what they were about

I'm an engineer on our company's Patent Committee. My first reaction was the claims as written were too narrow. It should have been written in broader terms to prevent competitors from designing around it.

I've also heard that when Michael Jackson does the "Moon Walk" on music videos through the Surroundbar, you feel like you're right on the moon.

Hmmm, or was that "wish you were on the moon instead"?
