BRAND NEW, NEVER OUT OF BOX, POLK AUDIO CSi5 center channel speaker
Item number: 5844939852 on ebay
Long story short:
Purchased CSi5 before finding this site and getting feedback about timbre matching to my LSi9's that I have. So, I am trying to sell this new speaker so I can buy the LSiC.

I can't think of a better way NOT to sell your speakers here.

Your very welcome!
Since I am trying to sell a center channel I thought it would be appropriate. And 3-4 threads in my opinion is not overkill RICHARD!

One post in the flea market. Also, it is frowned upon to list it on eBay, then offer it here. If you stick around long enough you will find that we sell things to forum members at great prices. You may make less profit in the short term, but eventually you will get a great price on something you want.

You can start be posting in Flea Market, and giving Polkies a better deal, we won't bid, and post in Flea market, wait I said that already, so post in the FLEA MARKET with pics.
See the thing is , we all know where EBAY is and how to shop on it. We all know we can get screwed at the last min, by someone who will out bid us. IN the Polk FM this doesn't happen.

Thank You for your informative and courteous reply..That is the advise I was looking for. I sure did not know about the ebay issue and will remember that in the future. I am really just wanting to get my money back maybe less 20 bucks would be okay. Will follow up in the flea market. Thanks again for the advise!

Ised... as a wise man said above, you need to hang around here and earn some respect instead of hocking your wares. If you want to make it right, there are several options:
1) Edit your post above and remove the self promoting reference to your own auction. I see you do know how to use the edit functionality
2) Stop your eBay auction and offer it up here for around $200 or less. It will sell and you will get brownie points for hooking another member up.
3) Offer CP members 10% off the final eBay price if a CP member wins.
This banter with a contributing member of the forum is not helping you sell your speaker, or making you any friends here.
jan... let it go man... its not worth your time.

i agree with anonymouse above. I am relatively new myself and love the idea of the CP forum. Seems like a great place to benefit from others who share an enthusisasm for the hobby. Sure you may sacrifice a few bucks but sometimes its not all about money. Also I considered buying your CSi5 but I just paid 10 bucks more so I could 'buy it now' and have the confidence of buying from a member with 2000+ positive feedbacks. I would consider lowering the price a bit for CP members as mentioned or at least offereing a buy it now option on eBay so whoever wants it doesnt have to wait 6 days and worry about getting outbid. But thats my $.02. Hope you find a buyer soon, good luck :)
