I have included a pic. These are very close to me but something doesn't look quite right so that is why I am including the pic.

Nothing wrong with them at all. They are the very early version, thats why they look different. (Especially the 10" PR) They have the Peerless tweeters too. Overall, these are among the most desired versions of the Monitor 10.

Yep, those are very early "Model 10" speakers, which were later called the Monitor 10 for the rest of their lives. Velcro grill... uncoated PRs... Peerless tweeters. Nice :)

speakers like anything is market driven.. the more in demand something is the more it fetches on the open market.

Making arrangements now. I have to hide them from the wife for now! Too much stereo gear out and about the house! :D
So is 160 watt/ch (Sansui vintage integrated) good enough to drive these?

:)
Now that these have my full attention, I notice one of the badges is missing. Currently watching a pair on Ebay and wondered how often these come up.
Should I jump on this pair and what is a good price?

Monitor 10's come up on ebay quite often.. there are a few there right now... also check out Craigslist in your area... that way you won't get smacked with shipping charges.. and it's never a good idea to ship speakers. damage could occur to them.
price for Monitor 10's could be all over the map.. average though is between $100 to $175 we all like good deals.. so if you can find a pair close to you so they don't have to be shipped. that's the best way to go.

Sorry for not clarifying. I am getting the speakers but one is missing the badges and there is a pair of badges on Ebay right now. That is what my question is about.
How much for badges and how often do these come up?
Sorry!

badges come up every now and then. i think it's been a few weeks since i last noticed them up for auction. snag them. shouldn't go from that much..
