I just rediscovered the Monitor 10. A few months ago I bought an amp and tuner from an ad on CL here in Columbus. While at this guys house I noticed he was using a mint pair of Monitor 10s along with a new pair of "Theater Research" (I know).
Needless to say I felt the 10s needed to be rescued. . . I finally got this guy to sell them to me. I felt that they might put the energy into my HT system that was lacking and boy did it do that.
Last year I bought all new JBL E100s (6) and their C35 center. . . Biggest mistake I ever made. I hated them. I got rid of them as quick as I could without going completely berserk.
This year I want to go with the Polk's using my Monitor 10s for fronts and some smaller ones for rears but I need a center.
What is the biggest Polk center that might do well with the Monitor 10 (2000)?? I remember reading a similiar post about this subject here but cannot find it now. . . When I say "Biggest" I mean for around 500 bucks. . .or so.
