I am seriously considered the TC265i for the front in wall speakers and because of stud constraints either the TC65i or LC65i for the center channel. A couple of questions please.

Can I mix the TC’s 8 ohms with the LC’s 4 ohms or does this present a problem?

Is there a needed distance from the plasma to the speaker so not to interfere with the display? In my situation the side speakers would only be about 4 inches from the TV but would be in wall so the magnets would actually be further.

Are in wall enclosures a good idea and if so does Polk offer them?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

I just in stalled TC265is around my pooltable and bar. Go with the enclosures. You can get them for $100 each from brand-electronics.com.

If possible pick a line a go all TC (RTi) or LC (LSi).

Stay about a foot away from the screen. They should not interfere with your TV.

Thanks, I'll go with all TC's.

Can the TC 265i as a center be installed vertically?

I hope I can get a foot away from the TV, if not is their a barrier available?

Do you have a sub suggestion for this system?

Many thanks,
Jeff
