For sale is a pair of Sanus Natural Foundations 18" speaker stands that I used to hold my RT55i's up but i am now selling those as well so i really dont need the stands. I have used these for about 6 months now and have no complaints. I am looking for 50 bucks shipped. Please post here first and then pm me if interested, Thanks.

are they really only 18" off the floor? or is the long part 18"? are they mdf or metal? do you happen to know if these would be too low for lsi7's? i might be interested.

The entire unit without the floor spikes is 18". Made out of wood. However 18" would be way to low for the lsi7's in my oppinion. That is up to you though.

My lsi7 stands sit 20" high. They're fine for me but it all depends on your room and furniture...

My concern is will they be able to hold them stable on a carpeted floor. I have small kids, I am still debating if I should go with stands or a bookshelf at the back.

I think 18" would be to low for the lsi9's as well but that is up to you. The stands have carpet spikes on them so they are pretty stable, but still just like anything else if a little kid pushes it, it will fall over :)...... Just let me know what you want to do

Thanks for responding.
I think you are right 18" will be too low that I didnt realise initialy :o . I want to use them for back surround so a little more height will be better.
I think I will be better off going with bookshelf for kids saftey.
Thanks again and good luck with your sale.

you can get stands that are fillable. you could fill them with lead shot or sand. that would make them heavier and alittle harder for kids to knock over.
