FS: Yamaha RX-V995

In my effort to raise funds to purchase Brent's Sony STR-DA5ES, I am selling my Yamaha RX-V995 receiver. It is in immaculate physical and mechanical condition and includes the original remote and manual. I do not have the original box. I paid $200 and will ask for the same (I know that CP members usually get a discount and we can talk). Local pick-up is preferred; I will ship and will only charge actual shipping fees - may be expensive due to weight and the need to double box to safely ship. PM me if interested and post here as well. I have no feedback here as this is my first attempted sale. It is also posted on e-bay (sorry guys) and I have great feedback there (shawn474). I have actually seen this unit and it appeared to be as described.

Shawn - You should drop the price here off the bat or include shipping at this point. The Ebay thing should be handled after it doesn't move here, just as a courtesy. It's a little late now, but just a heads up.

Hoosier, double boxing and shipping for ups ground would probably run around 25 to 30 dollars depending on location.

I wish I would have seen this earlier. I just sold my Athenas to my roommate and he needs something to power them with. This Yammie would have been perfect. Too bad I missed it.

I have this same model receiver. It's a solid champ! Nice features (surround stuff) and preamp outs for all channels in case you want to use beefier external amps.


If you're looking for a nice surround receiver (5.1 DD and DTS. Not 6.1), this is a nice bargain.
