For jealousy more than anything else. I just thought these were awesome pics of his listening room that go with the auction for this badass amp. I dont think I have ever seen a bigger toroidal transformer. This guy must have gobs of money. Check it out.

I need to chang pants now!
Man, that is one beast! I guess that's Krell's version of the Rotel RB1090 (is that the one I mean?). It's from 1993, but I can't find the output for it online.

Sweet Mother..., them are the Genesis speakers I seen in Chicago, shit, someone was asking about what to replace his SRS's w/ on a budget of 20K or something. and I couldn't remember what model they were......anyway these are the Genesis/Infinity venture... These speakers are friggin insane.....
But I don't see the amp he is selling in the listening room.....Levinson perhaps?

I'll try to find where I found it.

I highly doubt the pictures of the amp were taken in the same house as the sound room...
Look at the pink chair, table, furnishing etc in the beginning pictures. Seems out of place in a house with a sound room like that. Maybe he spent all his money on the sound room?
And yes, it looks like the amp after the listening room pictures has extra caps, lost a transformer, lost the heat sinks?

That ebay guy is an idiot. Those amps in the picture are Mark Levinson 33 monoblocks... not the Krell KSA300.
The REAL guy lives in LA... the auction is from Pennsylvania - something's fishy!!
Here is the link to the REAL guy:

Those are the Infinity I (RS1) speaker aka Genesis 1.1.

Yeah, I highly doubt someone with a listening room like that would have Home Depot vinyl stick down tiles ANY WHERE in their house.
I agree that somthing smells fishy.

I thought the same thing when I posted it, that it doesnt 'fit' on eBay and something seemed weird but nonetheless, I just posted it because I thought it was cool that a room like that with that setup existed SOMEWHERE lol :)

"No cash deals" at the door is the suspicious part. I think just about everyone dropping high end gear on ebay would much rather be handed a stack of 100's than deal with anything else.

IF YOU'D LIKE A PLYWOOD CRATE BUILT FOR THE JOURNEY, THE COST WILL BE 60.00 FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS. (i've included photos below of a 147 lb. audio research amplifier that my friend Eric built a crate for last year)
No cash deal thing, I can see that, 3600+bucks in cash, kind of risky, your wide open for a lead pipe upside the head. And, with full payment, you don't have to deal with the guy comng to pick it up and wanting negotiate.
The Media room pictures seem to be stolen, for what purpose, I have no idea.

$3700-$4500
Even though it's NOS, it's still getting old.

I don't do cash at the door for really expensive items either. You'd be suprised, even though the bid is final, auction is over, price is determined, they will STILL try to negotiate further once they arrive.
Not worth the headache.

Yeah, the twelve 12" woofers are cute and all, but seriously you can do better than +/- 2db to 15hz. A 15" cerwin vega would totally round that out.
