I ASSume that these are the SL2000's?

Will the 3000's work, and work well in the 2b's?

You ASSume correctly.

The SL3000 or it's replacement, the RDO198-1 will not work well in the 2B's unless you modify the crossover.

I tried it and liked it but I don't recommend it unless you have some laying around. Everyone here prefers the new RD-0194-1's that you asked about.
