I am intersted in this thread.
I am interested in the outcome of this thread also.
I am not afraid of the FM because I do not see anything there I want but when I do I will be very afraid.

Yep, haven't posted in there in the past couple days. I was actually asking some advice on an old amp, and instead of posting in the flea market, I posted in the electronics section.

Not that it wasn't better placed there, but I figured it would get more views in the flea market. As there is always someone browsing it.

And no one posted a reply to the question. Guess no one knew, or didn't care...

Really depends on who is selling it, I am more cautious (alot more) around newer members I havnt delt with over the years than regulars, etc

This is rediculous. Much to do about nothing.

I am sure the reigns will loosen a bit in the upcoming weeks. I really don't see a reason to police up the board, I think some of the members were doing a good enough job doing that anyway. If the BS isn't happening on the FM, it will just be taken to another of the boards.....(clubhouse)...

I personnaly like the rants, it is entertaininment to a rather dull Sunday, (no more football)..........

Oh well......

Screw the new rules. I am going to break them all, and drop F bombs along the way.

You mean RuSsMaN isn't 40?? Man, I feel old now... ;)

(But I wholeheartedly agree - much ado about nothing)

I feel partly responsible. I was trying to be sarcastic and ended up being a horrible dispute in the SRT thread. I will have to watch my Ps & qs from now on.

They may not have jokes in Texas, but I understand everyone has at least one gun....

No different than purchasing anywhere else. Caveat Emptor, but there are some trustworthy people there. My problem is that I will probably not use it very much as the shipping costs could be HUGE for me.

Where have I been? I was unaware there was a "new" fea market.... I have not heard of anyone being taken since I have been at club polk and always thought it was a better place to shop than the local market.

What is new about it?

in the new flea market.. you can only post there if there is an item for sale and you have interest in it.. otherwise you can't comment on it.. like saying... dude your item is BS and you're asking how much for it? commments like that won't be allowed anymore. unless you have some interest in an item for sale there. :(

Ugh, new rules suck. The only thing that scares me is I won't be online during the next Doro, Russ, BDT, GG, Zero, etc... fire sale and all you bastages will snap up the good stuff...

That explains the anger issue...in Arizona everyone has at least 3. :D

So, can you say "Dude I have been looking all over for one of these. I am really interested in it except your item isn't the model I wanted and is about $500 more than its worth."

Just trying to find out the requirements. Have there been that many issues with legitemate buyers and sellers? Are shameless bumps allowed? (usually the on-going conversations were the only thing keeping the item for sale on the front page.)

The seasons don't fear the flea market.
Nor do the wind or the sun or the rain.
We should be like they are.
Come on baby.
Don't fear the flea market.
