I'm looking at buying a pair from someone. What's a fair price for these in good condition?

Fair price to you or the seller?
Has the seller named a price? Are they a close friend or a stranger? If so, how much are they asking? Original boxes, SDA cable and owner's manual included in the sale? Can you pick them up yourself or must they be shipped?
Fair price to you could be $700, fair price to the seller might be $1000.

I'll sell you mine, for $8500.00. Good luck finding anything new that will beat them for less than that.
Edit: I thought about it some more today and couldn't think of anything less that $8500.00, so I changed my price. Of course, mine aren't for sale at any price. I'm just encouraging you to buy a pair.

I bought a pair for $1200 Canadian. They look brand spanking new, they came with the crossover cable and the original manual. I picked them up myself. The seller got a good price and I believe I got my money's worth due to the minty condition.

The answer is 'Whatever someone is willing to pay', and not a penny more.
With the mods and care taken with Jesse's, they should bring a premium, no doubt.

Jesse keeps hoping that Polk will notice his stalwart defense of SDA's and make a plaque for him.
