I was wondering if the black Monitor7C's are real wood or some type of laminate. I was considering refinishing them in cherry to match other furniture. Is this possible? Or does Polk sell the older cabinets without anything inside? Kinda off topic but I was searching in a drawer and found the original owners manual for the Monitor line. I have the boxes and packing in the attic but for some reason the manual was in a drawer -even had the original warranty card.:)
