Everything sounds good, but one standout so far - the soundtrack to "Hideaway". The middle 5 tracks of that CD make my LSi9s so very happy, and those puppies aren't even broken in yet.

Damien Rice-It is mainly just the recording though-so clean and smooth. If you guys want to hear a GREAT recording, check him out

Days of the New (thanks for inadvertantly introducing me to these guys, doro)
Dave Matthews - Under the Table and Dreaming

Enya???

I also have an album by a small coffee-house guitar player named Justin King. That recording is incredibly clean, and some of the songs sound soooo sweet on the SDAs.

Singers make them sing. The Mormon Tabernacle and Vienna Boys Choirs in particular.

without sounding to eh... "happy", the Sarah Brightman SACDs, especially LA-LUNA are something to behold. The discs are expensive, $30 a piece, and worth every penny.

Nightfly is an excellent recording. You'd also like Steely Dan's 2 against nature CD.

It's all good!!!

I have been leaning toward acoustic, female vocals, and singer/songwriters(Cat, Croce, Simon and Garfunkel) lately.
