Anybody else watch this show?

Season finale is on tonight for a 90 minute special.

I didnt care much for this show until recently so I had to go rent the first couple seasons to catch up. So far this has been a pretty good season. Forrest Whitaker is such an outstanding actor. From Garlic in Good Morning Vietnam to the internal affairs officer he plays in The Shield is night and day. He plays it well and will have you standing up in your chair screaming at this guy, he is SUCH an asshole!

Not much action tho in this season. The first season were Mackey and his team kicking ass all over town. This season has all be him covering his ass and trying not to get caught. Still a good show tho.

I love the show. I've been watching since the beginning. The Finnaly was pretty good. I knew that ending was comming. Forrest Whitaker's charecter is really quite the ass wipe. I hope they really give him hell next season. The show has changed quite a bit since the first season, but it's still pretty good.

I too have been watching from the beginning. Good ending last night. I cant believe they killed off Lem. The show is really going to change now without him. Michael Chiklis is producing the show now and doing pretty good. Lem always was the weakest of the bunch, as Shane is the most ruthless, even more than Vic.

Great show. Just started watching last season. Sorry it's over for the season, but it looks like Fox(FX) has got some others worth watching. Looking forward to checking out Thief and the return in late Spring of Rescue Me.

I've been a religious watcher of the Shield since its' first season. I can say that each season it gets better and better. I watch two shows on television, this one and 24 (which has disappointed me this year). I will say that The Shield is in danger of being cancelled. I read somewhere that it is still up in the air as to whether or not there will be another season. ratings are poor (Ireally can't see how considering ow good it is) and Shawn Ryan now also writes The Unit. It would suck if it is cancelled, but it seems pretty likely.

The Shield has low ratings? I thought it was doing pretty good.

I kinda understand it tho. I mean, these are bad guys and we're rooting for them. Last season was pretty dirty, after each episode I felt I needed a shower.

Plus Dutch and Wimms are horrible characters and only make me irritated to watch and just get in the way. Plus Wimms is probably the single ugliest person alive!

I didnt like the ending either. And the worthless fight between Kavanaugh and Mackey, that Ive been waiting all season for, was only them rolling around in the dirt for 30 seconds til theyre broken up. What a let down.

Maybe I will try this show out on DVD. I just never like to watch cop shows. It's enough I have to work 40+ hours as one!:p

LOL! Well this one has very little to do with being a cop! Its kinda like NYPD Blue where 97% of the show is about the personal lives of the characters and only 3% police work. Hell, every case they caught was solved in a single shift!

I wanted to be a cop for so long, but theyve made it suck so bad. You even look at somebody the wrong way and you can not only be fired but also brought up on charges or sued!
