A lady at work just bought a Bose speaker system (it has 2 speakers and a control module)..not my choice but....
There is a little module that has red and white RCA inputs...which plugs into the main Bose control module...no digital..shock
She has a tv with HDMI which she uses to connect her DVD player..she uses regular RCA connection from cable box..
She was only getting sound from the cable box so I told her to use RCA from cable to the "IN" RCA if tv....I also told her to do the same from the DVD player.....
then connect another RCA from the "OUT" tv input to the Bose RCA...
My question is will this work for the DVD player since she is using HDMI? or won't she be able to use the HDMI if she can't use digital sound? Can you use BOTH HDMI and RCA? or will she have to get a DVI for video only?
thanks
