LSi25s (front) Phase setting (Norm vs. Rev)?

I use my LSi25s as the front speakers and what should I set the Phase setting to (Norm or Rev)?

You should set it to whichever way sounds better, dont worry if you dont hear any difference between the two settings.

I would recommend playing an 80hz test tone while having someone flip the phase switches (typically they're gonna need to be in the same position). You're listening for it to be a little louder in one position. as RT says, it doesn't always make a difference.

In the various rooms I've tried the LSi25's generally I've found normal to be a better setting. However, from time to time in certain rooms the rev setting sounds better. No matter which setting you choose, make sure both speakers have the same setting.

The best way to test this is to play some music (or if you have a test CD, some 1/3 octave pink noise (don't use a pure sine wave) around 80 Hz) with a fairly repetitive, but varied bass note. From your primary listening position, focus in on the area of sound which is below the male human voice, the upper bass/lower midbass region. Whichever setting sounds louder, fuller, "faster" in that region is the correct setting. If you cannot hear the difference, then leave it to 'normal'.
