While the combination of the RTi12 with RTi10 would sound incredible with your amp/pre I think you would get more HT type bass from the PC-Ultra. The RTi12 just can't go as deep as the PC-Ultra.

Are you using any type of sub currently? Maybe you could add the PC-Ultra and some RTi8 for the rear?

Dude, if you have no sub, then fill in the piece that is missing. This one is a no brainer. Get the sub first.

The sub will add much more bass than just the 12's. The RTi12's bass section contains 6 drivers at about 40 sq in and maybe 1/2 inch throw or about 120 cubic inch displacement. The SVS Ultra? 1 driver at 115 sq inches with 2.5 inch throw or 287.5 cubic inches displacement. Plus ports set up for low bass, it's own amp, no brainer...

I have a pair of RTi12's as mains and an SVS PC-Ultra

There is NO comparison between the bass output...The Ultra will eat the 12's and spit out splinters:D

That is my setup too. And though the RTi12's have some nice bass, there is no comparison to a dedicated SVS sub. That sub will rock your world.

Buy the 12's and a bigass sub. Put the 10's in the rear and you'll have the coolest HT system known to mankind.

thuchien, yes I love my PC-Ultra. My first SVS and I had the good fortune to start near the top. Now I just need a good amp and a new DVD/combo player! Maybe you could add another pair of the 10's AND the SVS, that would be an incredible system.

Dude get a Polk Audio PSW 1000 sub they seriously hit hard!So what changed since you posted this on Sunday?
I have a middle quality Velodyne sub and ya know what I really like it pretty well and I end up getting a SLP sub while I've never heard SVS before I have to say that my fav sub might be Velodyne

Y'all r right about Polk Audio subs. I went to my local Circuit City and listened to a PSW12. Although it was only a low level sub, it still sounded like shit. I dunno maybe a top of the line Polk Audio sub would sound good though.
