170 WPC of real HK power. It will make your 70s sing.

Posting at midnight, gets few views as the threads move down the page. Nothing personal I'm sure.

The 2400 followed the Citation 22/24 models that I have used for years and I really like the effortless smooth sound it gives.

i actually posted this one yesterday so i figured someone might see it during the day today and help me out. oh well i'm happy to get some feed back. I'm sure that there are alot of better amps out there but as i am new to this i really don't want to "overkill". Meaning that i don't plan on upgrading my M70's anytime soon and don't want to buy an amp that will be way better than what the 70's will be able to do.

The 2400 will be more than the 70s can handle, but abundant, clean power is a speaker's friend not enemy. A single 2400 wouldn't be overkill in my book but get another one and bridge it for 340 watt monoblocks and then we will discuss overkill.:D

If you ever decide to sell the 2400, you might look me up, as that is an HK I have always wanted to try.

Enjoy,

DG

The HK2400 is excellent. I have owned a couple of HK power amps over the years. I still have a Citation 22 (200w/ch @ 40A). It is awesome. You cannot go wrong with them.
