I was checking out Call of duty on Xbox 360 at Wal-Mart, and was wondering if anyone has played the xbox version of this game and how was it?

I played the original xbox version and I found it on the weak side. It had no resemblance of WWII at all, not like the Brothers in Arm series. COD was pure run and gun, pick up ammo and health packs.
Sorry to say, but BIA is the only thing saving the WWII campaign right now. In fact the European theater is basically done IMHO. Be nice to see a good/great Iwo Jima game out there.

Thanks for the response. I guess I will wait and get it when I purchase the Xbox 360 later on this year. Did you like the 360 version?

I believe they are 2 different games...I haven't played 'The Big Red One', but I did finish Call of Duty 2 for the 360. Excellent game...well worth the price of admission.

That's what I didn't like about Multi-Player. It was just run and gun, and had absolutely no aspect of 'reality' to the actions you would engage in.
