Hey guys what do you think of this?

A Denon AVR-4806 receiver and an amp to go with it. Now I know y'all all say Outlaw Audio amp but what about keeping my amp same as my receiver and get a Denon PMA-2000IVR? It says it's a stereo amp but I wanna know if it would be good enough for at least my LSi 25 fronts?

Hey what about a Marantz SR-9600 Receiver combined with a Marantz MA-9S1 Amplifier to power an enitre Polk Audio LSi series system?

Or could the Marantz SR-9600 run the entire system on it's own? I'm starting to hear talk that Marantz is REALLY good Home Theater?

Crmfmly. If you intend to get all LSI speakers you will need all the power that you can get to run ALL of the speakers.

RECEIVER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO IT!!! I don't care what brand it is!

DREAM HOME THEATER SYSTEM

Preamplifier / Processor: Outlaw Audio 990 $1,099.00
Amplifier: Outlaw Audio 7700 300 watts x 7 channels @ 4 ohm $1,999.00
Front (Main) Speakers: Polk Audio LSi 25 300 watts $2,499.98
Center Channel Speakers: Polk Audio LSi C 200 watts $599.99
Surround Speakers: Polk Audio LSi FX 200 watts $999.99
Subwoofer: Velodyne SPL-1000 R 1,000 watt 1,299.99

This IS the best possible combo you can put together!

Now please just order it!

Are you sure a Marantz SR-9600 combined with a Marantz MA9S1 isn't as good as an Outlaw Audio 990 combined with an Outlaw Audio 7700? Don't get mad I'm just asking about every brand I hear of.

Sorry

It won't sound 3 times better. Many different routes to go for that kind of dough, and it wouldn't be in the direction of a receiver for me at al.

I agree with Cathy... except for sub.... and the speakers... and the Outlaw gear...

crmfmly,
Granted that while some items are internet only, and thus are a leap of faith (at least to the tune of shipping cost), Hearing about gear is only to get you a list to go out and hear.

Clearly you're jazzed about assembling a nice HT rig, but channel that energy to your feet and get out and get your demo on.

And not to fuss at you (that's Cathy's job ;) ), but subwoofer questions belong in the Subwoofer section of the forum, electronics questions in the Electronic section, etc. You will get more replies, if you set your threads in the proper place.

Welcome to the Club...

I was originally going the Denon route with RTI 12's until I bought some LSI 25's. Then I found out the 4 ohm load would eventually eat receivers up so I bought an earthquake amp. I'm happy as a clam letting the speakers run wild now.

Oh and to cut your budget down.

this might help you save $$$ for amp or receiver.

Unless they have an issue and you're sans warranty.
