I was wondering if anyone has this setup in their own home. I am using the CSI-3 as a center.
Presently I am using the plastic 6005's for the rears.
Is it really worth the "Upgrade" for rear channel info on the low end system listed below in the sig file. Pro's and con's?
What difference would I actually expect to hear from the rear. This system is for HT only!
TIA,
Dale

Keep your eyes on www.outpost.com occasionally they sell the R15's for $50 a pair. It's definitely worth the upgrade at that price. I'm using the R15's as rears paired with the Rti6's. No complaints

save your money dale. Keep what you got until you're ready to buy either another set of rti4's or better yet, a pair of fxi3's.

yeah, if you can get in on the $40 a pair deal, then definitely worth the price, but I wouldn't pay full retail at $129...

I almost bought two pairs of the 4's while I was at the store. I would like something close, but non obtrusive, than the 4's are for the rear.
I knew I was opening "Pandora's Box" when I bought the 6005's at Christmas time. I do hate crap.
If not the 15's, what other things are available. Money is not the issue. But the fxi3's probably wouldn't work that great in this room.
Thanks for the replies,
Dale

they're both close to the same size, they're both black, and the rti4 can be had in white- and it sounds twice as nice. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Don't go the r15 route with 4's up front- don't cheat yourself.
or white fxi3's set to bipole if you're sitting position is out of the null area.
