I need help with my center channel. I'm watching TV right now and my receiver is set on PL IIx music instead of movies and it's actually much louder and my sub is much more responsive and I've switched back and forth between the 2 and with PL IIx music on my center isn't on but all other speakers are on. When I switch back to movie mode my fronts aren't as clear as before and my center seems a little muffled. Can you help me out a little bit with watching movies. Am I really needing a center channel?

Did you calibrate the test tones with a SPL meter better yet with Avia? Makes a diff. But your center should play in both modes??

PLII music is louder in the center than movie mode. Always has been.
Its designed that way, to give you the option.

For some reason I thought he was switching to different Digital modes. Yeah I usually watch my movies what sounds best. IMO all the modes in music sound better than movie ,cinema ect.. so thats what I listen to the mode that sounds better

Yes use what sounds the best once you know your system is pretty much tweaked. I am still tweaking with my new Yammy receiver! I do love my certer speaker. The surrounds (R15) dont play a huge part in my listeng so far.
