Hi Troy,
He is adorable. Good luck with him. We took home our bully last June at 13lbs. He is now a 55lb wrecking ball.

He's a looker as well!

He is our first bulldog pup...we had Gunny for close to ten years but he was grown when we got him. Hard to believe he's been gone a year and a half.

I was sorry to hear about Gunny, he sounded like a really cool dog. As for raising a Bully puppy, it can be a challenge. Our dog just turned 1 last week and we are still "training" him. As a pup, we just bought a house and were under construction a lot. This was traumatic to him so his development fell behind. He is catching up though.

Bulldogs are stereotyped as dumb, this is not the case. Any dog can be trained to do anything with patience. My wife always had boxers and while our Bully is a challenge, he is smarter than any boxers she had. Smart though is not always a good thing. A smart dog will also be inquisitive. Ours tries to get involved with everything we do. He even keeps watch as I wire my system, to make sure I did it right.

Crate training is a must and very helpful. Tug toys are good also. Our dog loves the "tennis ball" type of chew toys. Good luck.

Congrats Troy! He's a cute little thing right now.

Do post & let us know how much he loves destroying the rest of the house as he starts teething, running, etc. ect.:D

BDT,
Just a word of caution, you know that dogs and their owners tend to look alike after awhile and you are starting out with that Gunny look to ya... :)

Cool pup!
