question for the PSP guys

My son recently down loaded some upgrades for his psp at a friends house with a wireless network that allow him to surf the web from his psp, now when he brought it home to try and access the web through our wireless network he keeps getting an error message that says "a connection to the access point could not be established. check security settings for the network and try again" now when I checked the network settings on the psp it says that the security settings are at none, so my question is there something else i need to do to the psp or is problem with my wireless router

If you don't have any wireless security like WEP or WAP then having it set on none should be fine. Just make sure that it is finding your SSID. (The name of your network.)

it shows the ssid as linksys but still doesn't connect do you think it might be something in the router?

Well, it looks like you can connect to the internet with your other computers, so I would say it's something with the PSP. I haven't ever had an issue with my PSP so it would be hard for me to point you in the right direction.
