Help with new system

I am new here and have been very impressed with the boards and how helpful everyone seems to be. I need help with speaker options for a new home theater room I am working on. This room will be used for 1-2 years while we design and build a new house, so I want to select some equipment that may be more than I need now but will move to the new house well.
Here is the setup:
1. The room is 11.5 ft wide and 14 ft long, carpet on floor, corner window on front right, 12 panel french doors in middle of back wall. Room is on second floor, so has easy attic access for wiring. Main viewing position will be two chairs 9ft from front wall (8ft from tv)

2.TV: 50 in Sony sxrd

3.Outlaw 990/7700 vs 970/7500 vs B&K AVR507?

4. SVS sub: cylinder vs cube? which model for a room this size?

5. Speakers: Yes, I am afraid it does have to meet the "wife test" as this room is off the master bedroom. She would live with free standing speakers up front but will want in wall/ in ceiling speakers in back. What would be my best choices in a room this size and these constraints. She would be estatic with all in wall system.

6. Center speaker: csi5

7. 5.1 vs 6.1 vs 7.1? merits and disadvantages in a room this small

If you're only going to have this setup for 1-2 years, consider a basic 5.1 setup. I wouldn't do in-walls. SVS cylinder or cube -- doesn't matter. It's a personal preference. Center channel choice is good.

I'd put my money in an Outlaw combo, do bookshelf speakers all around and a "small" sub such as the SVS PB10 or Hsu STF-2. Once you move into your new home, you can move the bookshelf speakers to the rear and put a pair of floorstanders up front, then upgrade the sub because you'll have a better idea of the room size.

I have heard the lc265 in walls and have to say they are impressive. You would be hard pressed to find a better application than yours. My main concern for you would be; Are you willing to go through the painstaking process of removing these speakers upon moving? I would suggest the lsi 15's or 25's up front. You can utilize these speaker in your new home, and you should add a hsu-vtf2 ( I recommend this sub over the svs anyday, it is far more musical and linear) for a sub, it will easily handle your room and then some. The csi5 is a very colored center speaker. It is extremely dynamic and efficient, but lacks the true to life sound with an extremely "live" high end which some people find annoying. Listen to the lsic and you will hear at once what I mean. Love the outlaw amps. The sony is the best tv on the market, I own the 60". Room size dictates that you go 5.1.
