I caught this on an AOL site I think... from the Last E3 2006 meeting.
SPORE looks pretty awesome. Fun, entertaining, and sweet graphics. I bet I'll pick it up when it hits the shelves.
Crysis also looks good, I spent WAY too long on FarCry, so I assume this one will be just as good. I personally thought FarCry was the best FPS to hit the market in a LONG time when it came out.
Any thoughts on the 11 different games mentioned, or even those that weren't?

Yeah, I love the concept of Spore. Essentially playing a cartoon God.
The game that's got me most interested however is Supreme Commander. I've always been an RTS nut, and this hits home as perfect for me as I loved the Total Annihilation series.

I know some of you wouldn't agree with me, but I would like to see more RTS coming out for consoles. Almost all of the good RTS games come out on the PC and the only decent RTS i can remember on a console is command and conquer: red alert

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II will soon be released on X360. I've only played the game on the computer, but I can tell you that is one amazing RTS, with great graphics to boot.
I really think there will be a huge surge of new RTSs on consoles soon, since they are now including free access USB ports... which means mouse and keyboards. The problem with consoles is that while they are great for certain games, their controllers are very imprecise for almost everything else. I can guarantee you that any of the top notch Halo xbox players would get completely creamed by an average PC player just because of the extra precision. However, with the possibilities of keyboards and mice... well, we'll see.

You have a good point...
Regarding BFME 2, is that going to be available on the PC as well? Looks totally sweet! I'd even pick that RTS up, 'cause I love LOTR!

Sweetness. I'll have to pick that one up as well. Is it a true RPG? I played a LOTR on a buddies gamecube and it really blew. You were just running around swinging a sword against millions of ogres and stuff. After that I never looked into the LOTR PC games.
Thanks for the heads up. :)

It's sort of a hybrid RPG/RTS like the way Warcraft 3 was (If you're familiar with the playing style). So not a traditional RPG the way you're thinking, and certainly far from a console-esque rpg. Still very worth it in my book, especially the playing mode War of the Ring, which is essentially a Risk type game which is a lot of fun.
