I am looking into getting a new sub. I would need the biggest, baddest with the smallest foot print. Any suggestions?
I currently have the energy s10.2

You could stack a few svs pb10s on each other in a corner:D

I could, but we want small and not tall.

might check out the martin logan depth sub, it is pretty small and sounds amazing. Has 3-8" drivers in it in sort of a triangular enclosure. the other small subs I have seen are the carver sunfire subs, but the martin logan is a much better sub.

Sunfire Solitaire 10 it's small.. exactly what you're looking for. ;)

What happens when Bob applies his dual-high-pressure woofer technology to a single-front-firing design? Deep, musically accurate bass to 16 Hz.

The True Subwoofer Solitaire 10 uses a 1250-watt Tracking Downconverter amplifier, and includes our new self-diagnostic system with measurement microphone and internal contour EQ adjustment.

Add a gorgeous black piano lacquer finish and you have a sub that's almost too good to hide in a cabinet (although you can thanks to the single front-firing woofer and detachable grille).

Sweet, now to find out how much this puppy costs.

ok found the price.....Yikes is all I have to say. But at the same time I can show these prices to my wife. She'll be happier with the bigger one we have than to fork out 1k+ on a new sub.

DIY sub hidden under the floor or above the ceiling is not an option? If it is then you're making your wife AND your wallet happy... ;)

I wish we could put in the wall. We have people who own the house above ours.

Don't forget the Sunfire Super Jr. This thing is only 9in cubed, has a 1000+ watt amplifier, and gets below 30hz, pretty amazing for such a small sub. If I recall correctly it also sold for below the 1k range.

Don't overlook the hsu vtf-2. 300 wpc bash amp with 1000 wpc peaks. It is a hell of a sub at a hell of a price, and a 30 day trial period.

I would get her a copy of Jim Belushi's new book. Real Men don't Apologize.
I would get myself the Sunfire.

I was just about to recommend the REL but someone beat me to it...you bastard...

ha, just kidding this is a cheaper sub than the rest recommended and quite small as well. Heard it once over a def tech super cube and kicked the crap out of it for music.
