I've got 2 cats and they can be very territorial. The only part I don't like is that they leave hair all over the place. One is 14 years old is my best friend.

Some cats are to be avoided by bigger animals. What happens is that when a cat wants an invader out of its territory it will jump on the back of the animal and hold on with its claws. It "rides" the animal until it is out of the territory. My old outdoor cat used to do this routine a few times a month when a big dog would wonder into the area. Really cool to watch!

They're turning up around here pretty regularly now. They dragged one big boy out of downtown Trenton not long ago.
